Split System Air Conditioning

General benefits of split systems
Split system air conditioning is ideal for achieving complete comfort in smaller areas or single rooms. Discrete interior units give excellent control of the room environment, with adjustable flaps and louvres to direct the air flow, and most functions can be operated with the convenience of a remote control.

The efficient cooling and heating condenser unit is placed outdoors, and the latest technology means the sound levels are dramatically reduced, both for you and your neighbours, and the mechanical efficiency gives economical operation.

Daikin Split System

World leader
Daikin is a world leader in air conditioning technology. For over 70 years, Daikin has been combining research and development in mechanics, electronics and chemistry to produce quiet air conditioners that are practical, efficient and economical. Daikin has been operating in Australia for more than 30 years.

Quietly efficient
Daikin incorporates many innovative design features in its wide range of split system air conditioners, bringing you the ultimate climate controlled comfort. The easy-to-operate remote control and programmed settings help to make the temperature in your home or office just the way you want it, when you want it.... and your Daikin air conditioner's operation is guaranteed at temperatures up to 46º C.

Daikin Inverter Technology saves energy and money
The amount of cooling required from an air conditioner will depend on the outdoor temperature and the amount of heat in the room. Conventional air conditioners operate their compressors at a fixed speed and so they can only deliver a fixed amount of cooling and heating power. As a result, the conventional compressor must continually stop and start to maintain the desired room temperature.

On the other hand, Daikin inverter-driven units vary the speed of the compressor, delivering precise cooling and heating power. When a Daikin inverter air conditioner is switched on, the compressor operates at high speed to cool or heat the room quickly, and then, as the room temperature approaches the desired level, the compressor slows down and maintains a constant temperature, saving energy and saving you money.

Complete control for Total Comfort
Daikin air conditioners have automatic and controllable flaps and louvres to direct air flows upwards for summer cooling, downwards for winter warming, and horizontally to ensure uniform temperature around the room. There are various automatic functions and programmable settings to give complete comfort day and night, awake or asleep, around the year. On some models, there is an "intelligent eye" system to reduce operations and energy consumption when you leave the room for long periods, and there are even minimal settings for when you are away from home, so that your preferred climate can be restored quickly when you return.

The Auto Restart function remembers all your settings, so that climate control is automatically restored after any power interruption, and the Hot Start system ensures that no cold draught is released into the room when you switch to heating.

Wireless remote control
Control is always available at your fingertips, with frequently used buttons instantly accessible, and the on/off button has raised dots so you can feel it in the dark. The unit also displays diagnostic information for fast and easy maintenance.

Easy maintenance
Daikin air conditioners have mould-proof air purifying filters with warning indicators to remind you when to check them, and the washable grille is detachable for easy cleaning.
